PLOT (this is really it, I haven’t shortened it or anything)
Husband and Wife go for a vacation, they fight, fight, fight, and then they suddenly make up and realize Love is the most important thing in the world.
PRO(s)
1. To its credit, the movie does show some really good bickering between the couple – some of us who have been married for long and have to shoulder the professional-personal life balance should be able to totally identify with some parts of the movie.
CONS
1. The Wife: She is such a nag – even as an audience I wanted to divorce her! There is a word in Marathi “kajaag” that totally defines her, sorry cannot find a good enough English or Hindi substitute
2. The Language: The entire movie is in bookish English with loads of F-words and other foul language.. just didn’t seem very realistic for a Mumbai couple. Sample some dialogs: “If you do xyz, I will not begrudge your decision” instead of “I will not hate you for it”.
3. The Monologues: Every 15 minutes or so, a weird old guy shows up (I found out later that he is Barry John who runs the famous acting school that most of our TV/movie actors are graduates from) who rambles on and on about happiness, valley, insect, love, blah and more blah
4. The Songs: Too many and too forgettable and sung by someone with laryngitis aping Salma Agha
5. The Office: The Wife’s office is shown as a typical filmi office where you have to sleep with the boss for a promotion. Cmon writers, you couldn’t think of any other reason to make the Wife feel professionally stressed out?
6. The Humor: Okay this may actually belong to the Pro category because it’s the unintentional humor – the “so bad that it makes you laugh types”. One example of this is when the Husband comes out of his shower and suddenly sees the Wife packing her bags and asking for a divorce and he goes “HUH, what happened now?”. As an audience you are feeling the same thing, so it’s just funny – take my word for it. You would have to watch the movie to understand this but I would, of course, advise against that.

I'm totally using "begrudge your decision" in my next fight with Saurabh. :D
My favourite fight-and-make-up movie is Alaipayuthey (Saathiya). Some of their fights are like word-for-word the same as ours! And the end always makes me knees go weak :) Damn you Madhavan.
