The last post (Week 1) actually covered 10 days as I posted on a Monday. But going forward, I will keep it consistent and since the weight loss competition started on a Friday, I will just track the weight loss from Friday to Friday.
So the losing trend continued this week -
08/07 - 153.2
08/10 - 151.8
08/11 - 151.0
08/12 - 151.8
08/13 - 150.8
08/14 - 150.0
If you look at this week's data starting from Monday 08/10, I have lost just 1.8 pounds which is good but not great. And I know why it happened. 1) My body is getting used to the new diet and exercise. 2) I didn't keep up with the exercise this week. I went to the gym three times but didn't really work out intensely. 3) Varan-bhaat one night and overeating on Chipotle on another didn't help either.
So for next week - I need to think of something new and different to again shock my body. Also, I went to a kickboxing class this week which was sooo advanced for me. I was practically lost and felt like a fool standing there and trying to mimic others while they moved and danced and boxed and kicked in sync. Either I am going to totally swear off it or I am going to learn some basic steps looking at some online videos. I think it will be the former but I am hoping it will be the latter.
