Hmm.. the first post. I wonder what I should begin with. I don't even know why I created this blog in the first place :) Let's start with introducing myself. I am a new mom - of 4 month old twins - a boy and a girl. Let's call them Sr (boy) and Jr (girl), the boy being elder just by a minute :) When I got pregnant and found out about the twins, I quit my job - I was an IT Manager - and now I am a stay at home mom/wife. This stay-at-home business is kind of boring especially when you have worked ever since being out of college. So out of sheer boredom emerges this blog. I thought - well everyone has a blog and seems to be enjoying blogging, let's give it a try. I have to admit - I am a regular reader of a few blogs and those people have no idea, it's just fun to peek into others' lives. My husband - let's call him N - however does not share my enthusiasm and thinks that blogs are for totally self-centered people. Well whatever! :)
So hmm.. what am I going to blog about. Mainly I am hoping I learn/motivate myself from this blog. I plan to be a little more adventurous in the hobbies/activities I do staying at home so maybe I can use this blog for that. E.g. I am really keen on brushing up on my General Knowledge so expect a few quizzes once in a while. So let's see how it goes.. I am just hoping my initial enthusiasm doesn't die. Also, one more note - This blog is NOT going to be a typical mom blog. ooooh my baby did this, my baby did that and their pictures etc. I am enjoying being a mom but that does not define me. So yeah, I am going to post about my babies and their milestones and the funny things they do once in a while but not always :)

Hi I see you didn't post my comment on how blogs are for self-centered people, and how lists are for nice people?
Anon - I didn't receive your first comment and don't understand this one :) care to explain?
Yes - I said I agree with your husband N that blogging is for self-centered people. Interesting people form mailing lists and send a lot of emails
