- In my personal life, I prefer writing emails over talking to people on the phone. Maybe it's just the ease of composing the email at your own time and leisure versus the pressure of "you just have to talk now, think of some topics" when the phone rings. But at work it's the exact opposite. I prefer to talk over the phone rather than write 'professional' emails.
- I have never been very fond of gardening but all of a sudden I am getting very interested in it. I want to make my huge yard look better but I don’t know how. I don’t even know the basics of gardening but I am reading up on planting raised vegetable beds and all that. I had to google mulch to understand what it is and why I need to get it.
- I am planning many ambitious home improvement projects like painting the yard fence, painting the house exterior, redoing the garage.. etc. Not everything will be done on our own, but still.. it’s a very long list.
- At the same time, I also want to look for a new house that is in a better school district. Everything about the current house is perfect, except the school district sucks and we had never realized it until now. 2 miles north of us is the boundary of one of the best school districts in our county and until about a month ago we were under the impression that our house falls in that school district’s zone :(
- I hate summers. The heat, the sweat, the dust, the insects and also the fact that I can't wear long coats to hide all the fat
- I haven’t read a good book in a long time. All my reading in the recent months has been magazines - Time, Glamour and People. I love entertainment gossip :)
- I don’t understand why US TV shows have seasons and don’t continue throughout the year, I am missing all my favorite shows – Lost, Gray’s Anatomy, Mentalist, House, Medium… I think almost all the shows at 9 pm :)
- I want to lose the last 10-15 pregnancy pounds but I am suffering from a terrible lack of motivation and focus. I just have to get it together somehow.

Eeeek mentalist. They never explain how he knows, you can solve a mystery every day that way. Maybe you just like his curly golden locks. And I thought you didnt like medium? Isnt it off the air anyway? Havent watched 1 hr long serials in a long time.
Yeah mentalist is getting repetitive now.. the other guys/girls in that group don't do anything and just watch him solve the mystery. they show his reasonings though - althout they are very far fetched. i used to like his boyish looks but not any more :)
Medium is okay. i like the family part of it but i dont like that female and the crime solving part is worse than Mentalist. why cant she just get the last dream first and solve the crime in a day. there is no deduction/ investigation whatsoever - its just the last dream that solves everything.
medium used to be better. before it kept showing the irritating older daughter, who must have a really good agent. the family stuff is good, and i like the main female, and the middle daughter. mentalist golden curls boy is just about bearable for me, but i cant stand the nasally whiny woman who in no way looks like a cop.
oh yeah - that elder daughter is really irritating and ugly too.. she got a movie also right - my sister's keeper i think. true about the whiny cop in Mentalist - she totally doesnt suit that role. the other female is better - van pelt?
Lost is totally boring. Start watching 24, season 1 and 5
